Two foreigners recovered from DHA

KARACHI: Two foreigners who were abducted by suspected drug dealers were recovered from a bungalow on Khayaban-i-Muhafiz in DHA on Saturday by Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, says a statement.

“One of the foreigners, Moses Joseph, hails from Tanzania, while Frank Aneigbok is a citizen of Nigeria,” said the paramilitary force statement. “Both Joseph and Aneigbok had come to Karachi for separate drug deals with a smuggler in Pakistan. Joseph was kidnapped seven months ago over delay in payments that he had to make on his relative’s behalf. Aneigbok had arrived for a separate drug deal, though [the] exact time period of his abduction is not clear.”

The chief suspect and his accomplices were arrested by the Rangers. “Since the foreigners do not have travel documents, they have also been handed over to police.”
