Bowlers dominate in Benoni

BENONI: Australian pace bowlers produced an impressive display against South Africa ‘A’ on the first day one of the three-day tour match here at Willowmoore Park on Thursday.

Pat Cummins led the way with four wickets while Josh Hazlewood claimed three, Mitchell Marsh two and Mitchell Starc one as South Africa ‘A’, after electing to bat first, were bowled out for 220 inside 59 overs.

Australia lost three wickets in the fading light to reach 87-3 at stumps with Cameron Bancroft unbeaten on 24 and Shaun Marsh not out on 10.
