A widow’s woes

I AM 87-year-old widower of a railway officer who died 1969 while still in service. I also suffer from diabetes. In August 2010, Pakistan Railways (PR) increased the pension from 50pc to 75pc. However, my pension has not yet been increased. Consequently, I had to write eight letters to PR officers , including the General Manager and the CEO, based in Lahore, and to the PR secretary and finally to the PR Minister.

I send all my letters by TCS to ensure they reached their destinations. Unfortunately I have not yet received any written or verbal reply to that end.

Despite my age and ailment I am now considering going to Faizabad Interchange.
