KPPSC affairs
I APPLIED for the post of tehsil municipal officer (TMO) and district youth officer. The tests were conducted by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) two months ago.
For the TMO vacancy, examinations were held on Jan 31 in` different cities of KP. I reached the gate at 9.30am, while the examination was to start at 9.45am.
In Bannu, one centre was the Government High School No. 2. Surprisingly, there was no check on cellphones, roll number slips and ID cards at the main gate. The examination started at 10am.
The invigilator requested the candidates not to use cellphones. While I saw a boy sitting in a corner using his phone, the invigilator could not. Three girls were also sitting in our room. A man entered twice and talked to a girl and also showed her his mobile. As I complained about this to the invigilator, the outsider came to me and said he was from the commission, and is not a ‘poor schoolteacher’.
Also, the examination paper was leaked at the Abbottabad centre before it started.
The KPPSC should train its staff, while examination halls must not be allowed mobile phone.
