Drive against human traffickers

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) during its countrywide special crackdowns nabbed 3,446 human smugglers and traffickers in three years.

The agency initiated the campaign in November 2015.

Official sources in the Interior Ministry said steps were being taken to curb human trafficking.

They said the steps included profiling of passengers, offloading of travelers on incomplete documents and detention and arrest on fake/forged documents.
