PESHAWAR: A five-year-old boy was martyred and another suffered injuries in a landmine explosion near Mirali in North Waziristan Agency on Thursday.

Residents said that children were playing outside their homes when they were hit by a landmine. The incident occurred in Madakhel village near Mirali town. The five years old boy died on the spot. Another boy, 8, received injuries. He was taken to the hospital in the area.
