Gulshan-i-Ravi

THE attention of the Punjab chief minister is drawn to the development project in Gulshan-i-Ravi, Multan Road, Lahore. With the construction of Orange Train lines on Multan Road, the sewerage line from Multan Road to Gulshan-i-Ravi bridge is in a bad condition and left unattended by the contractors concerned pending completion of their work.

The sewerage bridge was many times built and damaged with no justified reasons. It was first built five years ago, after which the contractor started its unnecessary expansion by more than 20 feet in its length. Thereafter, the contractor left the road on both sides of the bridge incomplete. The road has deteriorated, causing problems for passengers and vehicles. The road work stopped over four years ago, but no one has taken notice of this. The chief minister should look into the matter and do the needful.
