Hunting of boars

I WOULD like to bring to the notice of Ahmer Bilal, president of the WWF-Pakistan, a recent incident of harming the fauna of Swabi and its adjoining areas. Within the campus of the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, several hunting dogs brutally mauled some wild boars. Soon the roads and footpaths were bloodstained, which distressed the community.

Although a formal apology has been made by the university administration, I request the WWF-P to devise a reasonable strategy to shift and and preserve the boars’ habitat to prevent such incidents in the future.
