LAHORE: Indian High Commissioner designate for Pakistan Ajay Bisaria along with his wife Bharati Chaturvedi arrived in Lahore through Wagah border on Tuesday.

They were received by Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh and other staff of the mission.

Mr Bisaria, who will be the 25th high commissioner of India to Pakistan, has earlier served as ambassador to Poland and Lithuania.

His wife, Ms Chaturvedi, is an environmentalist.
