HYDERABAD: PML-F to appoint district organizers

HYDERABAD, May 2: A meeting of the organizing committee of the Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) was held at the Jamote house here on Sunday. The Sindh general secretary of the party, Nawab Rashid Ali Khan, presided over the meeting.

Mohammad Ali Shah Jamote, Chaudhry Saifullah, Thakur Nazeer Qaimkhani, Ahmed Memon, Sindh Women’s wing organizer Saira Naseer and Faqir Manthar Mangrio attended the meeting.

The meeting decided to reorganize and strengthen the party up to the lowest level.

It was decided to appoint district organizers in their respective areas who would further appoint taluka organizers.

The organizers were asked to complete the membership of the party latest by May 30 and submit their progress reports to the provincial leadership.

The meeting decided to take full part in the next local bodies elections and if necessary to make adjustments with the like-minded parties at the local level.

The Jamote house was designated as the secretariat of the party for the purpose of holding party meetings, entertaining complaints of the people and under taking efforts to resolve peoples problems.

STPP: The central committee of the Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party at its meeting held here on Saturday decided to launch a phase-wise struggle from May 1 to resolve the problems confronting the Sindhi nation.

The chairman of the party, Dr Qadir Magsi, presided over the meeting.

It observed that the situation in Sindh had become explosive and conspiracies were being hatched to destroy Sindh and convert the indigenous population into a minority.

It accused the rulers of dividing Sindh on the ethnic basis and acting on the agenda of the MQM.

It said that old Sindhi villages in Karachi were being demolished and the Khokhrapar route was being opened to rehabilitate the outsiders in Sindh.
