Five hurt in Indian firing

MIRPUR, Oct 20: Five civilians were seriously wounded as Indian troops resorted to unprovoked shelling from across the Line of Control on different villages close to this side of the LoC in Samani sector in Bhimbher district and Nikayal sector in Kotli district of Azad Kashmir on Sunday, police said.

In Bhimbher district, three were seriously injured, according to police. They were identified as Mohammad Hussain, Mohammad Din and Guftar Ali.

In Kotli district, two civilians, identified as Kamran Maqbool and Mohammad Nawaz, sustained serious injuries.—APP
