QUETTA: Two suspected militants were arrested during search operations conducted in different parts of Balochistan on Friday.

The operaitons were conducted by Frontier Corps personnel after receiving intelligence-based information that militants were seen in Dera Bugti, Uch, Gulistan and Dera Murad Jamali.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, 46kg of explosives, improvised explosive devices, grenades and ammunition were seized.

Two militants belonging to banned organisations were arrested in the raids, it said, adding an IED fitted to a motorcycle was defused in Dera Murad Jamali.
