Save Chinjani school

THE Government Boys Primary School (GBPS) in the Chinjani village, Johi tehsil, Dadu, needs attention. There are only 30 benches, three chairs and two teachers available for 240 plus students of the school.

On the one hand, the Sindh government claims to have declared a state of emergency in the education sector and claims to have activated non-functional and closed schools and, on the other hand, it hurt several functional schools by transferring their teachers. The GBPS, Chinjani village, is one of those schools which were affected badly by the transfer of teachers.

There had been only three teachers, but after the declaration of emergency in the education department, one teacher was forcibly transferred to another school.

Being a paren, I have sent several written complaints to the Dadu district and sessions judge, judicial magistrate, education secretary, district education officer and education officer, but no action has been taken so far.

The condition of the school building is critical as it could collapse anytime.
