14 police officers reshuffled

PESHAWAR: In a major reshuffle, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department notified transfers and postings of 14 senior officers on Thursday.

A notification issued by the Central Police Office (CPO) here said that commandant of the Frontier Reserves Police (FRP) Dr Masood Saleem (PSP BS-20) had been transferred and posted as commandant Police Training College (PTC), Hangu. It added that as Mr Masood was undergoing National Management Course, the regional police officer, Kohat, would look after the charge of PTC commandant till his arrival.

DIG headquarters Mohammad Ali Khan (PSP BS-20) has been transferred and posted as DIG telecommunication of KP police. Commandant PTC Dr Fasihuddin (PSP BS-19) has been transferred and posted as DIG investigation at the CPO, and DIG telecommunication Sher Akbar Khan (PSP BS-19) transferred and posted as DIG headquarters at CPO.

District police officer, Swat, Mohammad Ijaz Khan (PSP BS-19) has been transferred and posted as commandant FRP, and SSP coordination, Peshawar, Qasim Ali Khan (PSP BS-19) transferred and posted as DPO Nowshera. Chitral DPO Ali Akbar Shah has been transferred and posted as principal staff officer to the KP IG, and AIG establishment Arif Shahbaz Khan transferred and posted as DPO Lakki Marwat in place of Khalid Mehmood Hamdani who was transferred and posted as DPO Haripur.

The notification said that Haripur DPO Shahzad Nadeem had been transferred and posted as DPO Mansehra; DPO Nowshera Wahid Mehmood transferred and posted as DPO Swat; and DPO Mansehra Ahsan Saifullah was posted as AIG establishment at CPO. Mansoor Aman, PSO to IG, has been transferred and posted as DPO Chitral and acting SP investigation, Peshawar, Mohammad Arif transferred and posted as acting SP investigation, Swabi.
