QUETTA: Funeral prayers for martyred acting investigations SP Muhammad Ilyas, his wife Razia Ilyas, son Advocate Adil, and six-year-old grandson Abdul Wahab were offered at the Quetta Police Lines on Thursday.

Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, the Police IG and other senior military and police officers attended the funeral prayers.

Muhammad Ilyas and his three family members were gunned down in Nawan Killi, a locality on the outskirts of Quetta, on Wednesday. His four-year-old granddaughter was injured in the attack.
