Under the agreement, the CPGCL commonly known as Genco-II would receive 200mmcfd with 72.5 per cent “Take or Pay” commitment from PPL’s recently upgraded Kandhkot Gas Field (KGF) in District Kashmore, Sindh to help run the power plant at optimum capacity.

Managing director of PPL Syed Wamiq Bokhari and Genco-II chief executive officer Muhammad Ayub Ansari signed the agreement on Tuesday on behalf of their companies.
