Sara becomes Pakistan’s first female ITF Level-2 coach

KARACHI: Sara Mansoor has recorded her name in country’s tennis history by becoming the first female ITF Level-2 coach from Pakistan.

“Currently Pakistan’s No.1 ranked player, Sara Mansoor was the national women’s team captain at the recent Asian Indoor Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, and has been an active member of Pakistan Fed Cup team for the past several years.

President of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Salim Saifullah Khan congratulated Sara on becoming coach.

“I am delighted to know that Sara has achieved the coveted ITF certification. As the first Level 2 female coach from Pakistan, she has not only made history, the achievement will also provide an incentive to other women in the country to pursue what has now become a career of choice, internationally,” he said.

“As a leading player of the game, as well, Sara is a great role model also for young girls taking up the sport. I assure her complete support of the PTF in her endeavors, and wish her all success.”
