Lyceum, Nixor in U-19 basketball quarter-finals

KARACHI: A basketball match in progress during the Karachi School-College Games.

KARACHI: The Lyceum School outplayed Habib Public School by 21-11 in the basketball under-19 boys competition while Nixor College edged past Karachi Grammar School 10-9 in the girls under-19 basketball contest on Thursday at the The City School PAF Chapter courts in the Karachi School-College Games 2017 which are being held at different venues in the city.

In the basketball under-19 quarter-finals, which will be played on Friday, Nixor College will clash with Habib Public School at 03:00 pm in court-A while The City School PAF Chapter will meet Whales College at 03:00pm on court B

The third quarter-final will be played between STEM and Karachi Grammar School at 04:00pm on court A and the fourth quarter-final match will be played between The Lyceum School and Cedar College at 4.00pm on court B.

Meanwhile, in an under-19 cricket match of the Karachi School-College Games, Karachi Grammar School beat Cedar College by nine wickets at Hill Park Ground.

The Games, which will see competitions for both boys and girls taking place in basketball, cricket, table tennis, swimming, badminton and football, commenced in the city on Monday and will conclude on Nov 5.
