Qatari held with nine falcons

LAHORE: A Qatari citizen was arrested from Lahore airport on Tuesday for allegedly trying to smuggle nine falcons worth Rs50 million.

Punjab Wildlife Department Director General Khalid Ghayas Khan told DawnNews Ahmed Husain Ali Muhammad-ul-Saada had hidden falcons in a large bag. He was arrested by a vigilance police squad deployed at the airport.
