Missing boy found in Multan

KARACHI: The Sindh Child Protection Authority (SCPA) on Tuesday said it had located an eight-year-old boy in Multan, who had gone missing about two weeks back, and would soon get him reunited with his parents residing in Karachi’s Hijrat Colony neighbourhood.

Officials in the SCPA said they had received information from the Child Bureau in Multan that they were looking for parents of the boy, identified as Adeeb, who was residing at the bureau.

“We got some details about the boy from Multan and checked [these] with our records of missing children,” said Fozia Masoom, a deputy director at the SCPA.

She said initial information with the authority showed Adeeb was a resident of Union Council 29 in Saddar Town’s Hijrat Colony locality.
