LAHORE: A nilgai or blue bull gave birth to two calves at the Lahore zoo on Sunday.

With the new arrivals, the zoo has one male, four females and two calves in the nilgai section.

Zoo Director Hassan Ali Sukhera said both calves were healthy and doing well.

The mother and calves were kept in separate enclosures for their care.
