Zehri assures clerics of abductees’ early recovery

QUETTA: The government is utilising all available resources for the protection of life and property of people and the law enforcement agencies are playing an active role in maintaining law and order, says Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.

He was talking to a delegation of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadees led by Maulana Abdul Rasheed Ejazi on Wednesday.

The delegation informed Mr Zehri about the abduction of Balochistan emir of Jamiat Ahle Hadees, Maulana Ali Muhammad Turab, his son and two associates in the Airport Road area last week.

The chief minister assured the members of the delegation of Maulana Turab’s early recovery as the government was “doing its best to trace his whereabouts”.

“The contributions of Jamiat Ahle Hadees for peace, education and promotion of brotherhood are well known,” he said, adding that anti-social elements involved in wrongful activities would be brought to justice.
