LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has launched a campaign to approach existing and prospective taxpayers through emails and text messages.

The objective of the campaign is to bring more people into the tax net and ensure the timely filing of returns.

According to an official source, the board has already extended the last date for the filing of tax returns for individuals and associations of persons to Sept 30 on public demand.
