DERA MURAD JAMALI: Three children, who were kid­­napped from this town a few days ago, have been recovered from the Khan Kot area, police said on Sunday.

Speaking at a press conference, the SSP for Nasira­bad district, Zahoor Babar Afridi, said the children — Allah Bakhsh, Noor Jahan and Mehboob — had been kid­­­­napped at gunpoint.

He said that after getting a tip-off police personnel raided a house in Khan Kot and recovered the children.

A man allegedly involved in the kidnapping was arrested, Mr Afridi said, adding that police were looking for the gang behind the crime.

He said that police had arrested two absconders who were involved in murder cases.
