Smeda CEO appointed

LAHORE: The Ministry of Industries and Production on Tuesday appointed Sher Ayub Khan as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) for a period of three years.

A spokesman for Smeda said that complying with the official notification, Mr Khan has taken over the charge of his office.

Orientation ceremony of IESS held

KARACHI: The inauguration of the second edition of The International Entrepreneurship Summer School (IESS) was held at Aman CED, Institute of Business Administration’s Main Campus, a press release said.

The IESS – hosted by the IBA Aman Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) – is a 10-day programme designed to inculcate and promote entrepreneurship. The programme has attracted aspiring entrepreneurs and students as participants from China, Indonesia, Netherlands and Czech Republic with international faculty’s teaching experiences ranging from South Korea, to Germany, USA and Singapore.
