QUETTA: Several events have been organised by the provincial government and Pakistan Army in the provincial capital to celebrate the country’s 70th Independence Day.

A sports festival was held to attract Balochistan’s youth where they got the chance to play cricket, hockey, volleyball, throw ball, football, badminton and tennis.

They also got the opportunity to participate in boxing matches and other athletic activities. An education gala was held where participants were encouraged to take part in quiz competitions, story and essay writing competitions, and poetry contests.
