Lone cadet

ABID Hussain Buledi, aged 17, a student of Intermediate in Cadet College, Petaro, lost his father and three close relatives as a consequence of a family feud in February 2017.

They were brutally murdered in broad daylight while coming back after a court hearing in Naval Kot, Rato Dero, Larkana. In Ramazan, the family lost another relative (a cousin), also murdered.

Since February, the family has been running from pillar to post seeking justice, but the police station concerned has denied them their right to register an FIR.

Abid, who is in his last year at the Cadet College, has been devastated by this series of unfortunate events. His father, a farmer by profession, worked day in and day out to afford him admission to the college. Now without a father, his future looks bleak.

I urge the authorities concerned and inspector-general of police, Sindh, to take immediate action and serve justice.
