THE banks, especially National Bank (NBP), are charging a huge amount of Rs390 on online transactions. I once inquired about such deduction from a local bank. The bank official said a new list of charges on online transactions had been issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.

The SBP should withdraw such exorbitant charges on online transactions.
