Free medical camp

SHEIKHUPURA: A delegation of the Sikh community from across the country spent Eid holidays in Gurdwara Sacha Sauda in Farooqabad, 16km from here.

Besides performing their religious rites, the Sikhs had also set up a free medical camp under the auspices of Young Sikh Seva Society. Dr Mispal Singh and his team examined hundreds of patients and provided free medicines to them.

Delegation leader Gayani Gurdas Singh, while talking to the media, said their religious leader Baba Guru Nanak had come to this gurdwara and distributed free food to the deserving.

“We are fulfilling the ancient traditions in the memory of the saint.”
