Rain expected during Eid days
LAHORE: There are chances of rain during Eid holidays in most parts of the country including Lahore.
But before the first monsoon rains come, it will remain hot and humid as it was on Sunday, said the Met department.
It said a westerly wave affecting upper parts of the county and the monsoon currents that were expected to start penetrating Pakistan on Monday will give around four-day spell of rains in the country.
For Eid day (today), it forecast mainly hot and humid weather in most parts of the country. However, rain/dust-thundershowers with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Zhob, Kalat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Mirpur Khas divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Fata and Kashmir. Light rain/drizzle is expected at a few places along Sindh coast.
