KHUZDAR: A suspected militant was killed during a search operation in the Surab area of Kalat on Tuesday, security forces said.

The Frontier Corps personnel while conducting a search operation on the outskirts of the town came under fire, which they retaliated, resulting in the death of one of the suspects, they added.

The body was shifted to the hospital, but the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.
