Girl recovered, abductors held

KARAK: The local police have recovered a girl student of 10th class and also arrested her kidnappers.

Police said here on Friday that Reema Hakeem of Latamber area was abducted by two accused while she was going to take her SSC examination about two months ago. The police identified the accused as Qismatullah and Saifullah, who are brothers.

The police said a team led by SHO Latamber Inspector Umer Zada Khan went to Lahore where they recovered the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused.

PROBE ORDERED: The district nazim has formed a committee headed by deputy commissioner to probe a quarrel between two doctors of the district headquarters hospital, Karak, and Medical Superintendent Dr Bashiruddin Khilji.

The body comprising MS of women and children hospital Dr Fakhr-i-Alam, Dr Gul Sanat Shah and district councillor Arshad Faheem has the directions to submit report to the district nazim within three days.
