First film policy

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that an effective ‘counter-narrative’ is imperative to rid the country of extremism and terrorism.

She was speaking at a consultative meeting held with stakeholders to develop Pakistan’s first film policy in Karachi on Saturday.

She said the government’s decisions of carrying out operation Zarb-i-Azb, the Karachi operation and operation Raddul Fasaad had proved quite effective to restore peace in the country.
