Panamagate verdict

THE judgement in the Panamagate case is yet again in line with our tradition of making an issue more confusing, and both warring parties are happy.

We do not want our problems resolved, as status quo helps us better. The verdict has hardly lessened the rulers’ agony and this helps the opposition.

Believers in democracy know that an election is the solution, but they need TV discussions as a source of entertainment, of course, of poor quality. So we keep ourselves busy in pursuing trivialities, losing time and then àre back to square one.
