Action sought against school attackers

QUETTA: The All Balochistan Progressive Private Schools Association (ABPPSA) has condemned an attack on a private school in Goharabad near the city and demanded immediate arrest of those involved.

ABPPSA chairman Syed Atta Muhammad warned that protest demonstrations would also be held against the police if they failed to take action against the attackers.

Addressing a press conference outside the local press club, he said armed men barged into Naz Educational Grammar School on Quetta-Mastung road and roughed up the principal, besides ransacking his office. He said that women teachers and other school staff were injured when they tried to rescue the principal.

ABPPSA president Muhammad Nawaz termed the attack against the tribal tradition, asked the chief minister to take notice of the incident and demanded arrest of the attackers.
