Two killed in Timergara

TIMERGARA: Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Adenzai area here on Wednesday.

Police said that a youth identified as Farman of Jango village was killed when he fell from a tractor trolley and was crushed under its tyres.

In another incident, Mohammad Ilyas of Ouch village succumbed to his injuries aftr he was hit by a speeding car at Shahbaz Shaheed Chowk. The residents later held a protest rally and said that three accidents had occurred at Ouch Chowk due to speeding and lack of speed breakers in the area.

REORGANISATION: Pakistan Peoples Party, Lower Dir, president Mehmood Zeb has said that he would reorganise party workers in all parts of the district.

He was addressing a party meeting at Mayar Jandol here on Wednesday. Mr Zeb said that PPP had suffered a great deal because of internal rifts. He said that he had planned to reorganise the party on village and union council levels.

Meanwhile, residents of Khall tehsil demanded of the provincial coordinator of Sehat Sahulat cards programme to take notice of the discrimination as deserving people had not been included in the programme.

Talking to mediapersons, the area elders, including councillor Hayat Khan, said that as many as 91,000 tokens of Sehat card were distributed in other areas of the district while four union councils of Khall tehsil had been ignored.

The elders threatened to hold a protest in case the area was not included in the programme.
