ISLAMABAD: Austr­alian police have arrested the killer of Pakistani student Zeeshan Akbar who was killed in Australia two days ago.

In a statement on Sunday, Pakistani High Commiss­ioner in Australia Naela Chohan said arrangements were being made to shift the body to Pakistan.

She thanked the Austr­alian prime minister for expressing solidarity with the bereaved Pakis­tani family and appreciated the timely action and apprehension of the killer.
