Imran has committed contempt of court: PPP

LAHORE: The PPP says that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has committed contempt of court by calling decisions in the Ayan Ali and Dr Asim Hussain cases “deals”.

“Imran Khan is openly committing contempt of court. How come Khan is declaring the courts decisions as deals between the PPP and PML-N?” PPP Information Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor questioned in a statement here on Wednesday.

He said Khan was frustrated at the “downfall” of his party.

“The PPP is always defamed by levelling baseless allegations. The PPP leadership has always faced false cases instituted by rulers,” he added.
