MQM-Pakistan condemns Altaf Hussain's 'appeal' to Modi

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Saturday responded to a video statement issued by Altaf Hussain in which Hussain sought the Indian prime minister's 'help', saying those who love Pakistan had no right to ask Narendra Modi for assistance.

According to a statement issued by MQM-P, "it is a well-known fact that Narendra Modi is not only known as the 'butcher of Gujrat', but is also notorious for his anti-Muslim policies which are open for all to see".

MQM-P's response also clarified that no person had the right to claim to represent millions of mohajirs and then seek help from an Indian prime minister.

MQM Pakistan also stated that the whole fiasco was concocted as a conspiracy to cast doubt over mohajirs' love and dedication to Pakistan.

The party also asserted that it not only condemns anti-Pakistan statements, but will also strive to make such conspiracies unsuccessful.
