Two civilians injured in cross-border firing across LoC: ISPR

An elderly man and a teenage girl were injured in cross-border firing along the Line of Control in Azad Jammu and Kashmir's Chirikot sector on Sunday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed in a statement.

ISPR claimed the two civilians were injured by "unprovoked ceasefire violations... targeting [the] civilian population of the village Chaffar".

"A 60-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl got injured due to Indian firing," ISPR claimed, adding that both the wounded were shifted to Civil Hospital Abbaspur.

"Pakistani troops effectively responded to Indian firing," ISPR claimed.
