PPP lawmakers failed to deliver, says Jatoi

DADU: Former Sindh chief minister and Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) chairman Liaquat Ali Jatoi has said the elected MNAs and MPAs of the PPP have failed to deliver in the rural areas of Sindh and 80 per cent of the province’s population is worried about their basic problems and civic amenities.

Addressing a public gathering at the village of Beto Jatoi in taluka Mehar on Tuesday, he said terrorism was a big challenge for the government, which failed to protect the lives of the people of Sindh.

He said the PPP leaders were busy in corruption and did not pay attention to solution of public problems.

Other AIP leaders Syed Zaffar Ali Shah, Ghulam Abbas and former district nazim Karim Ali Jatoi also spoke.

On the occasion, the PPP-affiliated residents of seven villages along with their heads joined the AIP.
