KARACHI: A small and mediocre four-race card awaits racegoers in the Gymkhana race meeting which is slated to take place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Unknown pedigree bay horse The Champion will make his debut in the opening race to be contested over four-and-a-half furlongs. Seven horses will battle it out in the opener. .

Al together, only 24 horses have entered the day’s races baring last-minute withdrawal.

The remaining three races, including the feature event, will go over five furlongs.

According to schedule, the first race starts at 2.30pm.
