MANSEHRA: Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Yahya Afridi has said that without support of the bar the objective of early and cheap dispensation of justice to litigants cannot be met.

Following taking oath as Chief Justice of the high court on Dec 30, this was his first visit to Hazara division.

In Kohistan, the chief justice visited district courts and the bar room. He met judges and directed them to ensure speedy disposal of pending cases.

In the district bar room, Mr Afridi heard problems faced by the lawyers and assured them of resolving them. He stressed that bar and bench should strive for providing speedy justice to litigants.

He said the high court would provide all possible help in that regard.
