Speed breakers

THOSE who are supposed to look after the traffic movement on roads have, in league with the road department officials, created a problem for vehicle users by getting built more road humps than are necessary.

No proper approval is taken from the legal authorities. Illegal speed-breakers have been built at interval of every 10 metres on several roads.

These speed-breakers do not follow the legal parameters and standard. No warning boards have been installed before them. These speed-breakers cause much trouble to the public and damage vehicles also. These hurt patients in ambulances.

The authorities concerned should look into the problem and remove these illegal speedbreakers. The government should build speedbreakers where necessary. A warning board be installed at least 50 metres ahead of the speedbreaker and it must be painted in a bright colour.
