KARACHI: Raza Sawani clinched men’s singles title after beating Nouman Aftab in straight sets in the 15th edition of Westbury Open Tennis Tournament here on Tuesday at the DA Creek Club.

Raza proved too good for his final opponent Nouman and recorded a convincing 6-1, 6-4 victory.

Later in the day, Nouman was also unlucky to lose his U-17 singles event final to Sahibzada Mohammad Ali who won 6-4, 6-4.

In the soft tennis event final, Robin Das defeated Saad Mohammad by 5-1 while in U-11 singles event final, Mahatir Muhammad defeated Yousuf Haleem 8-2. In the U-13 singles final, Mohammad Yahya defeated Mahatir Muhammad by 6-3, 6-4 score.
