Sindh postpones plans to close wedding halls by 10pm to Feb 2017

Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah decided on Saturday that the implementation of his earlier order for the closure of wedding halls by 10pm should be postponed till Feb 1.

Earlier in October, the government of Sindh had decided to ensure strict implementation of its decisions, seeking closure of marriage halls by 10pm.

The chief minister met with minister of industry Manzoor Wassan today and was informed that the orders for early closure of the weddings halls cannot be implemented from Nov 1 as the halls have been booked till January 1.

He was told that such implementation would cause problems for people therefore order should be postponed.

The Sindh government has also ordered that no more three dishes would be served in marriage functions.
