Imran’s appeal

ACCORDING to the media, Imran Khan has appealed to his workers to contribute Rs100 each for the upcoming sit-in to oust the sitting government.

One can’t help but laugh at such naïve desire of the PTI leader who wants to contest and win elections against a party (PML-N), which gives (not takes) from the taxpayers’ money in various forms to people in order to fetch votes.

It would be nothing less than a miracle if the party in power having stranglehold on all departments connected with elections commits the mistake of presenting itself for accountability in the wake of Panama leaks.

It would also not want to lose next elections come what may, for this would give the PTI a chance to argue that previous elections and the government thus formed were a farce.
