Rs45m allocated for drug rehabilitation centres

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday allocated Rs45 million for the uplift of Benazir Shaheed ANF Medical Drug Addicts Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre in Lyari and for the construction of a similar centre in Sukkur, officials said.

The provincial government would also be paying monthly expenses for the rehabilitation of drug addicts at anti-narcotics centres.

Mr Shah took the decision during his meeting with the director general of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Maj-Gen Nasir Dilawar at the CM House.
