Gali-e-Dastoor open to public

ISLAMABAD: Gali-e-Dastoor, a dedicated lane on the first floor of the Parliament House building narrating the story of Pakistan’s constitutional history, has been opened to the public.

Visitors can visit the Senate and have a guided tour of the gallery and courtyard, according to a press release issued by the Senate Secretariat on Monday.

This move is aimed at giving people the opportunity to know more about the country’s history.

The Gali-e-Dastoor is a thematic and symbolic representation of Pakistan’s history since partition, specifically about the making of the Constitution and the positive and negative developments in the process. It is a pictorial story with comprehensive captions.

The tour includes a visit to the courtyard and an introductory video about the Gali-e-Dastoor.
