Asking for a raise
Earlier this year, Fractl surveyed 2,000 workers in the US about their salaries and the way that they negotiate for raises. According to the research, men are more likely than women to ask for raises. When broken down by gender and ethnicity, researchers found that white men are 1.8 times more likely than Asian women to ask for a raise at work.
